A girl and her bear....

Nothing to exciting has happened here

In the East house..

Trying to get ready for my mother and sister

To visit! We are getting excited for them

To come...

This post is mostly about Avril today...

She is getting so big!!

Talking more and more and

Her little personality is getting

More fun(sometimes a little dramatic) and goofy...

The other day I was giving her a piggy back

Ride and when we were done she gave her

Bear, Rupert, a turn...

She loved it!!! She walked around the house forever...

This girl loves her bear!

These two go everywhere and pretty much do

Everything(including eating breakfast)

Together...

I love how much she loves this thing...

She takes such good care of him and I think

If he had eyeballs they would pop out of

His head with the hugs she gives him....

I can't wait to save him so that when she gets older

And has kids of her own I can give him to her..

Some fun facts about Avril and Rupert.....

*They were introduced when Avril was 5 months old

*After watching a episode of family guy we decided Rupert was the best name for a bear...

*Avril and Rupert have traveled hundreds and hundreds of miles together...

*Rupert has survived baby spit up, baby cereal, baby food, and now big people food....

*I think if I let her Avril would take baths with Rupert...

*First thing she does in the morning is grab Rupert before I get her out of bed...

*Avril now makes Rupert dance and dances with him...

*She tries to dress him in her clothes...

*Avril gives Rupert kisses and pushes him in your face until you give him one also...

*Rupert is the one toy that she doesn't really like to share

*No other stuffed toy has taken the place of Rupert...

*Rupert always sleeps on the right side of Avril...

*I'm afraid that one day soon she will rip off his thinning arm and be the most traumatic thing ever....
