No Longer A Family Of Three...

What a week!!

The time Arai has been home has

Flown by!!

I forgot how much I love being a mommy

To a newborn!!

I don't do being pregnant

Very good...

So being home with a baby is a lot

Easier to me then lugging a

Belly around..

Being home with my new little family has

Been so great..

Avril just LOVES her baby brother

She is always keeping an eye on him...

Its interesting how different my babies are..

But its so much fun having a boy and a girl:)

And he is such a sweetheart and makes us so happy.

Everything with these two has been so different

When I was pregnant with Avril I was SO sick!!

Being pregnant with Arai I couldn't stop eating!!!

I really thought that since I was

Three weeks early with Avril I was going to

Be early with Arai..

So not even close!!!

But I'm so glad I had a awesome doctor who

Knew how miserable I was and said I could be induced..

So we went in the 25th of January to welcome our baby boy...

With Avril everything seemed to take forever but happen so fast.

It was really easy with her..

My water broke, then my contractions started

Then it was a short drive around the corner to the hospital..

With Arai we went to the hospital had

My water broken, had contractions

Then got my epi...

Which was nice until the end....

I have a new respect for women

Who have had a natural birth..

Towards the end my contractions and back labor were

So strong that my epi medicine wasn't strong enough...

I was in so much pain I couldn't breath!!

So after moving to my side and upping my dose

I was feeling pretty good...

Then the shakes came...

Seriously the shakes.... Uncontrollable shakes.

Then the nausea...

Then the puking...

It was a hard last leg of the race...

And then we found out that Arai had

His cord around his neck and every time I would push

His heartbeat would go way down...

Thankfully my Doctor is amazing and

Talked me through everything as it was happening..

A few minutes later we welcomed our baby boy...

6 LBS 13.5 OZ 19 INCHES

We are so glad he is here and healthy..

Avril is so excited to have a little baby hanging around

She is always saying "he's cute!"

Life could not be any better than this!!!
